Spring Barrel Wine Tasting Tour

April 28th brought us to the Tri-Cities Area to visit our friends Britt and Jerry. Clayton and Tiffany went with us to take part in the "Spring Barrel" wine tasting event. We got on a tour bus at 10 a.m. and began our day driving to different wineries in the area. From 10-5:30, we visited approx. 9 wineries (we lost count somewhere along the way), partaking in free tastings and buying bottles to share on the bus as we traveled to the next stop. It was a beautiful day and we tasted a lot of very good wine. We hope Britt and Jerry will invite us back next year....or I hear that "Fall Crush" coming up:) Thanks for a fun weekend!

Leaving for our fun-filled day, sporting our all-access passes to the wineries.

At our first winery, Bernard Griffith.
On the bus!

Jacob is trying out his gymnastics skills after drinking wine for most of the morning...not bad.

We picnicked on the lawn of one of the wineries.

Could I offer you some wine? Tiffany served as our wine server on the bus!

Sunday morning, Jacob, Clayton and Jerry went fishing on Jerry's boat. Jacob was so excited to catch all of these fish.
Jerry is an expert and cleaning fish in record time. He sent us home with some fish, which Jacob made into awesome fish and chips.
